PaperToolsPro™ provides everything you need to

• gather, document, and organize researched information
• transfer documented information to a word processing file
• write your best research papers with accurate citations and bibliographies
• import data from citation manager programs
• avoid plagiarism

How it works:

Because PaperToolsPro™ is web based, no software is downloaded to your computer. Students, teachers, and schools subscribe to PaperToolsPro™ for one year; professional writers can subscribe for an unlimited time. All work is done from www.PaperToolsPro.net after entering a login name and password; and all work is saved to that server. At any time, users can save to their desktops as HTML files all notes and bibliography entries, and copy/pasted or drag/dropped parts or all the notes, bibliography entries, and Ideas Page to a word processing file.

From the left column of this window, the user can:

• Enter a thesis statement to give focus to research
• Click Enter quotation / paraphrase to get window to enter notes with ability to compare paraphrase with original quotation to avoid plagiarism(Fig.2)
• Identify notes by a descriptor and up to 3 keywords
• Insert new keywords
• See citation for entered note
• Search previous notes
• Click to view all notes as quotations and/or paraphrases with descriptor, keywords, and citations (Fig. 3)

From the middle column, the user can

• See style chosen and change style to MLA, APA, ACS, CBE, AAAS, Chicago Humanities or Science
• Click Enter Bibliography to make bibliography entry (Fig. 4)
• Select and insert previously used keywords into notes
• View all software documentation and instructional materials in QuickStart, Tutorial, and Resources pages

From the right column, the user can

• View bibliography in the style chosen (Fig. 5)

• Enter into an Ideas Page research questions, main ideas from research for creating an outline at completion
• Select and insert citation from previously used sources

• Access Internet
• Import Sources from citation management programs
• Organize notes using a search query (Fig. 6)
